PERAN GURU TARIKH ISLAM DALAM PEMBENTUKAN PERILAKU AFEKTIF
SISWA KELAS XI MADRASAH ALIYAH ISLAMIC CENTRE BIN BAZ

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru tarikh Islam dalam pembentukan perilaku
afektif siswa kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta. Penelitian
ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan dilakukan melalui studi
lapangan. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk memahami
bagaimana guru tarikh Islam membentuk perilaku afektif siswa dan strategi apa yang digunakan
dengan beragam faktor pendukung dan penghambat prosesnya. Guru tarikh islam tidak hanya
berperan sebagai pengajar tetapi juga sebagai teladan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang secara
signifikan mempengaruhi sikap, motivasi, dan perilaku siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa guru tarikh Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk perilaku afektif siswa
melalui pendekatan personal, penanaman nilai-nilai moral dan keagamaan, serta pembelajaran
yang kontekstual dan interaktif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap
pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam pendidikan Islam serta
meningkatkan pemahaman tentang pentingnya peran guru dalam membentuk karakter siswa.

THE ROLE OF ISLAMIC HISTORY TEACHERS IN SHAPING THE AFFECTIVE
BEHAVIOR OF 11TH-GRADE STUDENTS AT MADRASAH ALIYAH ISLAMIC
CENTRE BIN BAZ

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic history teachers in shaping the affective behavior
of 11th-grade students at Madrasah Aliyah Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta. This
research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach conducted through field
studies. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand
how Islamic history teachers influence the affective behavior of students and the strategies used,
along with various supporting and inhibiting factors in the process. Islamic history teachers not
only act as educators but also as role models in daily life, significantly influencing the attitudes,
motivations, and behaviors of students. The results show that Islamic history teachers play a
crucial role in shaping the affective behavior of students through personal approaches, instilling
moral and religious values, and contextual and interactive learning. This study is expected to
contribute to the development of more effective learning strategies in Islamic education and
enhance understanding of the importance of teachers' roles in shaping students' characters.
