Membaca Alquran tidak terlepas dari kaidah-kaidah yang sudah
ditetapkan dalam ilmu tajwid, namun masih banyak anak-anak yang belum
memahami ilmu tajwid, sehingga perlu diterapkan metode Bin Baz agar
mencapai ketepatan membaca Alquran. Permasalahan yang peneliti temukan
pada hasil studi pendahuluan di kelas VII Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Center
Bin Baz Yogyakarta, data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan
membaca Alquran siswa di kelas VII masih tergolong lemah, hal ini diperoleh
dari nilai tahfidz beberapa siswa kelas VII yang masih belum sesuai dengan
KKM yang ditetapkan sekolah. Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah untuk
mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode Bin Baz di kelas VII dan untuk
mengtahui hasil dari pengaruh metode Bin Baz.
Metode kuantitatif adalah metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian
ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi sebanyak 53 siswa. Data
dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumenter. Untuk
menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana
dengan hasil yang diperoleh yaitu nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil
dari 0,05 pada taraf signifikansi 18% sehingga 0,001 < 0,05. Dengan
demikian, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima.
Penelitian dan pembahasan dapat diketahui bahwa penerapan metode
Bin Baz di kelas VII Salafiyah Wustha selama ini berjalan dengan lancar dan
sudah mengikuti standarisasi pengajaran yang telah ditentukan oleh tim
tahfidz, dan disimpulkan bahwa metode Bin Baz berpengaruh terhadap
kemampuan membaca Alquran pada kelas VII Salafiyah Wustha Islamic
Center Bin Baz Yogyakarta. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk benarbenar memaksimalkan penggunaan metode Bin Baz dan memperhatikan
faktor-faktor lain yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Alquran
para siswa.

Reading the Quran is inseparable from the rules that have been set in
the science of tajweed, but there are still many children who do not
understand tajweed, so it is necessary to apply the Bin Baz method in order
to achieve accuracy in reading the Quran. The problems that researchers
found in the results of preliminary studies in class VII Salafiyah Wustha
Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta, the data obtained showed that the ability
to read the Koran of students in class VII was still relatively weak, this was
obtained from the tahfidz scores of some seventh grade students who were
still not in accordance with the KKM set by the school. The purpose of this
research is to find out how the application of the Bin Baz method in class VII
and to know the results of the influence of the Bin Baz method.
Quantitative method is the method used in this research. This study is
a population study of 53 students. Data were collected through
questionnaires, interviews and documentaries. To analyse the data,
researchers used a simple linear regression formula with the results obtained,
namely a significance value of 0.001 smaller than 0.05 at a significance level
of 18% so that 0.001 <0.05. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
Based on the research and discussion, it can be seen that the
application of the Bin Baz method in class VII Salafiyah Wustha has been
running smoothly and has followed the teaching standards determined by the
tahfidz team, and it is concluded that the Bin Baz method has an effect on the
ability to read the Quran in class VII Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Centre Bin
Baz Yogyakarta. Therefore, it is very important to really maximise the use of
the Bin Baz method and pay attention to other factors that can improve
students' ability to read the Quran.
