Abstract
ABSTRAK
Alifah Kusumawati, Implementasi Metode Permainan Bisik Berantai Dalam
Pembelajaran Maharah Istima’ Siswa Kelas V Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman
Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. (dibimbing oleh Muhammad Syafii
Tampubolon dan Yelis Nur Wahidah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
efektivitas penerapan metode permainan bisik berantai dalam meningkatkan
maharah istima' siswa kelas V Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta. Metode
penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan
data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian
menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan bisik berantai dilakukan dengan
tiga tahapan yaitu pembukaan diawal pembelajaran, inti pembelajaran dengan
permaianan dan penutup. Meskipun dalam permainan bisik berantai sudah sesuai
dengan langkah-langkahnya, tetapi masih ada kekurangan dalam implementasi
metode permainan bisik berantai diantaranya siswa yang belum terlalu paham
kosakata bahasa Arab akan kurang lancar untuk mengucapkan kosakata yang di
dengar dan kondisi kelas yang terlalu ramai dan kurang kondusif. Sedangkan
beberapa kelebihan dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya antusiasme siswa kelas V
salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta dan keaktifan yang tinggi dalam
mengikuti pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan metode permainan bisik berantai
dalam maharah istima’, pelafalan kosakata bahasa arab menjadi lebih tepat, dan
memudahkan pengajar dalam menilai siswa yang kurang memahami ketika
pembelajaran berlangsung.

ABSTRACT
Alifah Kusumawati, Implementation of the Whispering Chain Game Method in
Learning Maharah Istima' Class V Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta
Academic Year 2023/2024. (Supervised by Muhammad Syafii Tampubolon and
Yelis Nur Wahidah). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the
application of the chain whisper game method in improving maharah istima' of
class V students of Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta. The research method
used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation,
interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the chain
whispering game method was carried out in three stages, namely opening at the
beginning of learning, core learning with games and closing. Although in the game
whispering chains are in accordance with the steps, but there are still shortcomings
in the implementation of the whispering chain game method including students who
do not really understand Arabic vocabulary will be less fluent to pronounce the
vocabulary heard and classroom conditions are too crowded and less conducive.
While some of the advantages are evidenced by the increasing enthusiasm of the
students of V Salafiyah Ula Jamilurrahman Yogyakarta and the high activeness in
participating in Arabic language learning with the whispering game method in
chains in maharah istima', the pronunciation of Arabic vocabulary becomes more
precise, and makes it easier for teachers to assess students who do not understand
when learning takes place.
