Abstract

ABSTRAK
PERAN GURU AKHLAK DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTERSISWADI
SALAFIYAH WUSTHO PONDOK PESANTREN IHYA’ AS-SUNNAHSAROLANGUN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru akhlakdi
Salafiyah Wustho dalam membentuk karakter siswa, untuk mengetahui
upaya sekolah dalam meningkatkan karakter akhlak yang baikdanmengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang dihadapi guru dalammembentuk karakter siswa di Salafiyah Wustho. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitia lapangan ( field research) dengan bentuk deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang diambil yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancaradan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui data reduction, data displaydan verification. Hasil penelitian dengan judul “Peran Guru Akhlak DalamMembentuk Karakter Akhlak Siswa Di Salafiyah Wustha PondokPesantren Ihya’ As-Sunnah Sarolangun” sebagai berikut (1) Peran sekolahdalam membentuk karakter akhlak siswa di Salafiyah Wustha Ihya’ As- Sunnah yaitu dengan menjalankan program-programyang sudahditetapkan oleh sekolah yaitu dengan Shalat Dhuha, Tahfidz Al-Qur’andan mengadakan Muhadharah yang di lakukan satu pekan sekali. (2)
Faktor pendukung yang dihadapi guru dalam membentuk karakter akhlakyang baik yaitu dipengaruhi oleh standar isi kurikulumyang digunakan, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, peran guru akhlak, komite seluruh wargasekolah dan peran orang tua dalam menjalankan programsekolah. (3)
Faktor penghambat yang dihadapi guru dalam membentuk karakter akhlakdiantaranya yaitu kurangnya kepedulian dari orang tua dan guru, minimnyapengetahuan oranng tua tentang pendidikan karakter, lingkungan sekolahyang kurang mendukung, dan kesadaran dari siswa yang kurang. Kata Kunci: Guru, Karakter Akhlak, Peran

This study aims to determine the role of moral teachers in Salafiyah Wusthoinshaping student character, to find out the school's efforts in improving good moral
character and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by teachers inshaping student character in Salafiyah Wustho. This research is a field research withaqualitative descriptive form. Data analysis techniques taken are by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, datadisplay and verification. The results of the study entitled "The Role of Moral
Teachers in Shaping the Moral Character of Students in Salafiyah Wustha IslamicBoarding School Ihya' As-Sunnah Sarolangun" are as follows (1) The role of theschool in shaping the moral character of students in Salafiyah Wustha Ihya 'As- Sunnah is by carrying out programs that have been set by the school, namelybypraying Dhuha, Tahfidz Al-Qur'an and holding Muhadharah which is carried out oncea week. . (2) The supporting factors faced by teachers in forming good moral
character are influenced by the standard of curriculum content used, the leadershipof
the principal, the role of moral teachers, the committee of all school residents andtherole of parents in running school programs. (3) Inhibiting factors faced by teachers inshaping moral character include lack of concern from parents and teachers, lackof
