Abstract

ABSTRAK

Penelitian hubungan merupakan upaya yang dilakukan oleh para peneliti
untuk menilai sejauh mana hubungan hubungan antara minimal dua variabel tanpa
melakukan modifikasi, penambahan, atau pengendalian terhadap data yang ada.
Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara penguasaan kaidah nahwu dan kelancaran
membaca bahasa Arab, menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman yang baik terhadap
nahwu secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kelancaran dalam berbicara bahasa
Arab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungan penguasaan
kaidah nahwu terhadap kelancaran berbicara bahasa Arab bagi siswa kelas VIII H
Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian
kuantitatif korelasional dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Adapun
teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi “product moment” yang
diinterpretasikan dan diberi kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel
jenuh karena semua populasi dipilih menjadi sampel yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII
H Salafiyah Wustha Islamic Centre Bin Baz Putri Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 21
siswa.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata penguasaan kaidah
Nahwu siswa adalah 80,76, yang dikategorikan sebagai baik. Sementara itu, uji
kelancaran membaca bahasa Arab menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 85,71, yang
termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Analisis hubungan antara penguasaan kaidah
Nahwu dan kelancaran membaca bahasa Arab membuktikan adanya hubungan
positif dan signifikan antara kedua variabel, dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000
dan nilai koefisien hubungan sebesar 0,757, yang menunjukkan bahwa hubungan
antara kedua variabel termasuk dalam kategori sangat kuat. Maka berdasarkan
pemaparan di atas dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Ha diterima yaitu terdapat
hubungan antara penguasaan nahwu terhadap kelancaran berbicara bahasa Arab,
dan Ho ditolak bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara penguasaan nahwu terhadap
kelancaran berbicara bahasa Arab.

ABSTRACT

Relationship Research is an effort undertaken by researchers to assess the
extent of relationships between at least two variables without modifying, adding to,
or controlling the existing data. This research examines the relationship between
mastery of Nahwu rules and fluency in reading Arabic, showing that a good
understanding of Nahwu can significantly enhance fluency in speaking Arabic. This
study aims to determine the degree of relationship between the mastery of Nahwu
rules and fluency in speaking Arabic among eighth-grade female students at Islamic
Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta.
The type of research used in this study is correlational quantitative research,
with data collection using tests. The data analysis technique employed is the
"product moment" correlation, which is interpreted and concluded. This study uses
a saturated sampling technique, meaning the entire population was selected as the
sample, which includes all 21 eighth-grade female students of Salafiyah Wustha
Islamic Centre Bin Baz Yogyakarta.
The results of the study indicate that the average score for the students'
mastery of Nahwu rules is 80.76, categorized as good. Meanwhile, the test for
Arabic reading fluency shows an average score of 85.71, which falls into the very
good category. The analysis of the relationship between the mastery of Nahwu rules
and Arabic reading fluency proves a positive and significant relationship between
the two variables, with a significance value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient
value of 0.757, indicating that the relationship between the two variables is very
strong. Therefore, based on the above presentation, it can be concluded that Ha is
accepted, indicating that there is a relationship between the mastery of Nahwu and
fluency in speaking Arabic, and Ho is rejected, indicating that there is no
relationship between the mastery of Nahwu and fluency in speaking Arabic.
