ABSTRAK
Penelitian berbasis portofolio ini dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji implementasi pendidikan Islam berbasis Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah menurut pemahaman Salafus Shalih di lingkungan Yayasan Ihya As-Sunnah Singkut, Jambi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya kajian yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan pesantren dan sekolah formal dalam satu sistem pendidikan Islam. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan Islam berbasis Manhaj Salaf serta peran metode pembiasaan dan keteladanan dalam membentuk iman dan tauhid peserta didik. Portofolio ini mengintegrasikan dua penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Artikel pertama membahas penerapan metode pembiasaan dan keteladanan dalam membentuk iman dan tauhid siswa kelas V di SDIT Ihya As-Sunnah Singkut, sedangkan artikel kedua mengkaji implementasi Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah di Pondok Pesantren Ihya As-Sunnah Singkut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiasaan ibadah dan keteladanan guru berperan penting dalam menanamkan iman, tauhid, dan karakter religius peserta didik. Selain itu, integrasi kurikulum nasional dan kepesantrenan yang didukung oleh pembelajaran berbasis Al-Qur’an dan As-Sunnah, pembiasaan ibadah, serta pembinaan akhlak mampu memperkuat akidah dan perilaku keagamaan peserta didik. Sintesis kedua penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsistensi lingkungan pendidikan Islami, integrasi kurikulum, dan keteladanan pendidik menjadi faktor utama dalam pembentukan karakter religius. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi berupa model pendidikan Islam berbasis Manhaj Salaf yang dapat menjadi rujukan bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam mengembangkan sistem pendidikan yang berorientasi pada penguatan iman, tauhid, dan akhlak.

THE APPLICATION OF HABITUATION AND EXEMPLARY METHODS IN SHAPING THE FAITH AND TAWHID OF FIFTH-GRADE STUDENTS AT SDIT IHYA AS-SUNNAH SINGKUT

ABSTRAK
This portfolio-based research was conducted to examine the implementation of Islamic education based on the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf al-Shalih within the educational environment of Ihya As-Sunnah Foundation, Singkut, Jambi. The study was motivated by the limited number of studies integrating pesantren and formal school education within a single Islamic educational system. The objective of this research was to describe the implementation of Salaf-based Islamic education and the role of habituation and exemplary methods in developing students’ faith and tawhid. This portfolio integrates two qualitative studies conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The first article discusses the application of habituation and exemplary methods in shaping the faith and tawhid of fifth-grade students at SDIT Ihya As-Sunnah Singkut, while the second article examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education based on the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf al-Shalih at Pondok Pesantren Ihya As-Sunnah Singkut. The findings indicate that worship habituation and teachers’ exemplary behavior play a significant role in fostering students’ faith, tawhid, and religious character. Furthermore, the integration of the national and pesantren curricula, supported by learning based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, worship practices, and character development, strengthens students’ creed and religious behavior. The synthesis of both studies reveals that the consistency of the Islamic educational environment, curriculum integration, and educators’ role modeling are key factors in shaping religious character. This research contributes a Salaf-based Islamic education model that may serve as a reference for Islamic educational institutions in developing educational systems oriented toward strengthening faith, tawhid, and moral character.
